A hand-lettered sign by the side of the road, here in Elkhart, Indiana said “NUDE BARN CAT.” That’s just odd. I guess “well-dressed barn cat” might have been stranger. Why would somebody put up a sign to say that? ---

No, the “nude barn” is an unadorned barn. No paint, signage, etc. But it has a cat. ---

Oops! It turns out I mis-heard my wife when she told me about the sign we had just passed. It actually said, “NEUTERED BARN CATS.” Much less newsworthy. Gotta get my hearing checked again. ---
