The problem is that self editing an OP looks just as doofussy, and leads those of paranoid bent to susspect the worst motives. Anyway I was also thinking of a similar sort of thread, but couldn’t think of what I really would want to come of that thread. We still don’t really know the cause of the 1000 deaths in Iraq (well the cause of the panic that lead to the deaths) so meaningful discussion is difficult. ---

And that I think that mods should set an example. Maybe you think they are great shining beacons of fairness and justice. Reading the Pit and ATMB suggests they’re not. At least for some posters. And I think it’s curteous to follow form, i.e. telling the reason for the edit. ---
