Male/married/31 yrs old/20 or so. Asked wife. She says I really don’t want to know. Besides, apparently she’s not quite sure. No problems. Neither she nor I give a rat’s ass about the past. Of course if the numbers increase, then I’ve got a serious problem. Mrs. Drillrod is quick to anger, evil in her vengeance and she holds a grudge. God, I love that woman! ---

Male. 52, grand total of four, two of which were one-time-onlys nearly 30 years ago. Married the other two. Had 24 incredible years with the first until I lost her. Just celebrated anniversary #3 with the second. No problems. Am VERY happy. ---

Male, 42, single 25-35 partners?..(practicing alcoholic for 25 years) 5-10 men?..(see above) _Problems:_ 3 married women…(one was 5-year relationship) Long dry spells…(worst was from age 17 to 22) 1 STD…(chlamydia; easily cured) 5 HIV tests…(all negative) Tendency to remain in monogamous relationships long after expiration date. Now in 13-month dry spell…first 6 months by choice, but it’s getting old now! ---

Hokay, this has been going on long enough for some wildly unscientific numbers to come churning out. Total males responding: 51 (including SO’s) Total females responding: 39 (including SO’s) Men had sex with: 1,215 or more Women had sex with: 518 or more Average male experience: 24 partners Average female experience: 13 partners This does not take into account gender preference or how “complete” the act was–I just took the highest number given. There are a few over-achievers out there; if we (just for grins) take out the three highest-scoring guys (triple digits), the male average drops down to 14… if we likewise take out the three highest females, the female average drops to 10. Please bear in mind that I started out by saying this is wildly unscientific. This is not meant as any statement about those with high or low numbers. YMMV (a lot, apparently…). Contents under pressure. Dammit, Jim, I’m a computer geek, not a statistician! ---
