# Number that shows after clicking 'new posts' fer some time away.

Several years ago I would come here after a few days away and ‘New Posts’ would show, usually, 498. The last several times I have came here after some time away the new posts have been down in the 470s. Has participation fallen by about 4% or has something else changed?
