# nVidia 32 Meg graphics problem with games

Today i installed a new 32 meg nVidia 3Dfx card.
I have installed 5 of my games (after a fresh formatting 🙂 ), of which only two of them run without freezing.
Tony hawk runs fine, fifa 2001 runs occasionally or freezes when entering the game, nhl2001 freezes while loading into the game, mechwarrior freezes at the same point.
They all have similar problems.
System: 750MHz Duron
196MEG RAM
52x CD-ROM
graphics card.

Roughly 99% of all video problems I have encountered have been cured by going to the company’s website and downloading the latest drivers, which are often times more recent than those that come with the card itself.

nvidia 3dfx card? even though nvidia did buyout 3dfx, the two cards are distinctly different – do you have an nvidia card or a 3dfx card? it the above recommendation of newest drivers does not work, you may want to check for a patch for the game.
