Does anyone know if nVidia is developing a graphics card that is DirectX 9.0 compatiable? On their website I saw something about CG technology (an easier way for creating some of the graphical effects) but nothing about if they were developing a DirectX 9.0 graphics card yet. Is the Radeon the only one that meets this compatiablility as of yet?

IIRC, the Radeon is the only DX 9.0-compatible card family available at the moment, but nVidia’s next family (NV30, maybe?), due out in early 2003, is supposed to support 9.0

Be wary of the Radeon 9700 Pro, it has compatibility issues with some games (Combat Flight Simulator 3 for instance). I’m hoping this all goes away when DX9 is made available.
