# nvlddmkm.sys driver error: is there a fix?

I seem to keep getting nvlddmkm.sys driver errors, especially when using certain on-line games. I use VISTA64. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a reliable fix? Thanks!

The first step would be to go to [Nvidia](http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us) and make sure you have the latest driver.

Sadly, I have that. Yet I still get that “the nvlddmkm driver has stopped working _count 5 Mississippi_ The driver has restarted.”
