Hi to other New Yorkers. Wish I could join you for this. I will try to make it to one of these some day. ---

As much as we want to see everyone, **Cajun Man** and I want to stick to familiar surroundings. We will be thinking of y’all and we send our love to all of y’all. ---

I’ll be leaving in a few and bringing a friend. Doesn’t sound like Wonko is up for the trip and he sends his regrets. ---

**Grin… Dear Vix, Pix, Matrix and Styx** :D, Know that on this crisp clear cool day, I’m with you in spirit and in hot cider with cinnamon sticks in it. My body is here, on duty but my heart and soul are with my friends and loved ones. You people. You fine people… Cartooniverse ---

I’m sorry that I could not make it. I could not go into NYC, I was just too upset by the whole WTC thing. I almost always took the PATH into WTC when going to NYC, and it was a bit too much. I’m glad everyone had a good time. ---

I am so very sorry I had to miss it. I spent a very odd weekend with a friend of mine who’s still reeling - he’s so wound up he won’t even say anything about who he’s lost. It was actually a fun weekend; I just had to remember not to say even a word about the disaster. Once the pictures come back I’ll post about the $100-a-Night-Hotel-From-Hell, a Ramada Inn in Kingston, New York that is without question the skankiest, nastiest shithole I have ever laid eyes on, much less laid my body in. But that’s for another day :). [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/ny-dopers-lets-get-together/81273.md?page=3)
