Basically, call these “change” voters.

This guy irritates me though:

> [@](#):
>
> Gary Kerns, 42, of Gettysburg, said he had been impressed with Mr. Trump for a long while and called himself a “bandwagon voter” — one who is drawn to the most popular candidates. In 2008, Mr. Kerns voted for Mr. Obama because he was moved by the charismatic young senator’s speeches.
>
> “Obama was blazing hot,” he said. “There was momentum with him, and I got caught up with it. I loved it.”
>
> Now Mr. Kerns, a registered Republican, sees Obama-like energy in Mr. Trump’s candidacy. “Let’s roll with the hot hand,” he said.

Nobody said democracy was smarter, more efficient, or makes a good floor wax as well as a dessert topping. Only that sharing power on a broad and inclusive basis is a Good Thing, because it is more just for people to govern themselves. That’s all you get. It’ll do.

Of course. As Churchill said, it’s the worst form of government, except for all the others that we’ve tried.

IMO, there’s only one purely legit reason to vote for Trump if you voted for Obama: trade. Obama campaigned a fairly protectionist, and it was all baloney so no one’s going to believe Clinton’s newfound religion on trade. Trump is probably the first legit protectionist to run for the Presidency in a long time, so if protectionism is your #1 issue and you supported Obama, I can understand a vote for Trump now.
