The thread about alternate side parking made me realize how many New Yorkers are on the Dope. I’m not sure how long it’s been since the last Dopefest but I’ve never been to one; any interest? I’ve lived here 15 years but soon I’ll be seeking greener pastures; seems like a good time to have one! ---

I’d like to go to one again. The only time I dopefested, it was in a noisy (bar? restaurant? tavern?) at a long table and I could scarcely hear anything anyone said and I definitely couldn’t make myself heard in return. ---

I realize that opens me up for replies in which people wonder why I want to go to one again! :smack: I meant I’d like to attend but I hope it would be in a less noisy venue. ---

Oh yeah, totally; we could pick find a relatively quiet place but still in midtown, for convenience. ---

I’d be interested. And somewhere in Midtown would work for me. Is there anywhere quiet we could go? ---

I’d try my best to make it but no promises until a date is set
