You donā€™t need a passport, but the dogs will sniff you down when you pass 96th street. **The Abbey** , by the way, is on the east side of the Broadway/105th street intersection. Green awning. This Thursday night we were thinking of rotating to Brooklyn, as the previous two were in Manhattan (the island, not the ā€¦ nevermind). Anyway, after further investigation, the Brooklyn bar I was thinking of (the Park Slope Brewery) is not conveniently located near the subway, so I think thatā€™s out. Any other ideas? Itā€™s not as if we _must_ go to Brooklyn this particular week, so any other suggestions would be good! ---

Canā€™t make Bā€™lyn, but I may be able to make it in Manhattan. Anywhere along a subway line is fine with meā€”Iā€™ll have to leave by 8:00-ish, but will certainly try to be there this time. ---

I have dinner plans on Thursday (in Brooklyn) but I can recommend a ton of bars in the area and could meet up after 10. If itā€™s in Manhattan, I canā€™t do it. ---

**Druids** , on 10th Ave. between 50th and 51st St. Iā€™ve never been there myself, but I have heard it is excellent. Surprisingly good food, pub atmosphere, and a garden. I know I picked the last one, but itā€™s Tuesday afternoon, and Thurs. isnā€™t getting any farther awayā€¦ MR ---
