OK, gang, this Thursday, I’d like to go and check out some possible places for our May 12 NYC dopefest. I’ve posted some ideas in the Dopefest thread [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=1280223#post1280223). Although it is above our usual price range, perhaps we can go to [Savann](http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/7169101/), though it is a bit above our usual price range. There are some other possibilities as well. Ok, based on popular request, we’ll be having tonight at [Josie’s](http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/7166627/), 300 Amsterdam Avenue (at 74th Street). Josie’s is an organic-themed resturant, though it has a bunch of really good stuff for which you can ignore the organic nature, if you’re not into that (mmm, free-range chicken that tastes just like Purdue). Please e-mail me you’ll be coming, and I’ll make reservations (for 6:30, so let me know if you’ll be late). Afterward, for those of you that are into it, we’ll be touring possible Upper West Side dopefest spots. ---
