# NYPD Blue

The new season started Tuesday night. This is the final season. It was ABC’s decision to end the show, and since the ratings were good, it’s hard to understand.

I missed some of the eps last year. Did something happen with Connie, Andy’s wife? She’s not showing up in the credits.

There’s a new blonde detective (I like her), and John (newly drunk and lecherous) is putting moves on her. The dark-haired woman detective is jealous and has talked to the blonde about “flirting”.

The new captain reminds me of the HR Manager at my last full-time job. (I quit – after twelve years – a few months after he started.)

I like the character though – it’ll be fun watching Andy and Metavoy bump up against him.

Who else is watching? Any predictions about how it will all end up? I envision a huge retirement party for Andy. They’d better not kill him off.

Charlotte Ross left the show. The character “Connie” is still very much alive (unlike Sylvia) and staying home with the kids.

So I suppose since we won’t be seeing Connie, that means we won’t be seeing the little boy either. Hmmmmm. He was growing on me. 🙂
