Looking at the answers for yesterday (where I never even got to Amazing, I think), there were a ton of weird words, including both pangrams. Here’s hoping today is easier. ---

I agree. Considering they never accept standard words like dado and milt, I am amazed they allowed [Why can’t I make spoiler work? NM ---

I got to one word from QB very quickly and then spent the entire damn day until I finally found it ---

What was the word? I got to QB today quite easily and quickly with only minimal hints. (My habit is to not use Spelling Bee Buddy until I’ve got past Genius.) Today I got to two words from QB before looking, and then only used the top letter-count grid to figure out those two. I much prefer games where Genius is less than 100 points. ---

We don’t really have those here but I know about it from ants. Today was annoying for whatever reason. I managed Genius and am done. ---

Yes, another proper noun that shouldn’t be accepted. A pet peeve of mine since I started playing the Spelling Bee. They accept MAMA. They accept PAPA. They accept NANA. They _don’t_ accept DADA. Why not? ---

I stopped looking for consistency in the Bee a long time ago. QED: GIMME and GOTTA are acceptable. LEMME and WANNA are not. ---

I did. Since they started counting, I’ve got to at least Genius (no hints) every day, but one day there was a glitch and I too hastily revealed the answers so I didn’t get credit, and the badge came today. Yesterday was also 1400 days since I didn’t hit Genius — the day before, I simply forgot to play so no score. ---

Did anyone get their 1000 Genius badge earlier? I thought this was the first day anyone could get one, but checking my records, I’ve missed a few days during the last 1000. So someone could have gotten it in the past two or three days. ---

When I started playing a year and a half ago, I accidentally paid for a year of gaming on my ex-wife’s NYT account. She put me on her family account ages ago. I sort of half heartedly played for a while and missed a lot of days and I also had a bit of time where I used hints to get QB every day for a while. When that year’s subscription ended I started from scratch on my own account apparently 142 days ago. So my stats are pure but that 1000 Genius badge won’t be for quite a while. 142 Games. 142 Genius. 15 QB. No hints.
