I hope someday the NYT will post all the old puzzles back to the beginning. I’ve played 1,033 games, but sbsolver goes back to May 2018. ---

I suggested via the comments that they make the archives available, as they are for the crossword puzzle, Wordle and some of the other games. But I think that would result in endless amounts of quibbling over which words were accepted and when. I’ll bet that the editors just don’t want to deal with it. I also asked that the game allow me to show the list of words I’ve found in order of finding them, so I can kick myself for how long it took me to get an obvious four-letter word. (The iPhone app version does show the last three or four words but not the whole list.) ---

There’s a basic word search game called Squardle. [https://squaredle.app/](https://squaredle.app/) If you install/play on your phone, you can turn your phone sideways and see both the game on one half of the screen, and the words in order of either alphabetically, or in order of entry, on the other half. The left half of the screen with the found words scrolls, while the right half with the puzzle stays stationary. The screen that you see if you go there on a computer looks like the sideways view on a phone. I would love it if Spelling Bee could do that on the phone app and on the computer!
