For what it’s worth, there aren’t really any weird words today. Usually, only 30 or 40 percent of solvers get the hardest words, but today, no word is below 60%. So, you’ll get it! ---

Tuesday. Just opened it up and, because of the arrangement of letters, said “Ah, it’s MURIATIC.” It is not MURIATIC. MURIATIC is not accepted at all. I don’t know what it is yet, but it’s not MURIATIC. ---

Finished it. Finding an accepted pangram didn’t actually take that long but still, given the several chemistry-related terms in today’s puzzle, it remains an odd omission. ---
