I wondered the same thing. I would swear that it’s been rejected in the past, but apparently today was the first time it was a possible word. As for TONTINE, I learned that word from the Bee. And after ten appearances, it’s now been axed. It makes you wonder if they have an actual system or sometimes they just forget. ---

Note to the general thread: You don’t have to spoiler words that have been rejected unless their related to words that are accepted. In this case, spoilering was not needed. ---

This must be the easiest SB so far. Looking at the Buddy, 80% of solvers got the very hardest word. That’s almost always below 50%, sometimes far below 50%. ---
