You ever have a day where the letter combos just don’t work for you? That’s me today. I got the pangram first, got a few words to get to Great and just stopped. After staring at it some more, I finally got over the line to Amazing.
No idea how I’ll get to Genius today, let alone QB.

I do! I’m just saying it’s easier for me to go look it up there, rather than jumping into R to pull it.

Can one use that site to see all the words in the official word list? Or just find out how many there are?
If not, can you tell us how many words you have in your DB? How complete do you think your list is?
There’s a “look up” button further down the page, you can enter a word and it will show you every appearance or non-appearance of a word.
My DB goes back to January, 2021 with some occasional missing dates. I’m not sure how many words are in the database, I’ll look next time I go in.

Well, I made it to Genius, finally, and then QB will some help from the Buddy. My last word was just guessing.
I had the exact same huh? moment. We must be thinking of the same word, but nothing from memory feels right. TALLIT? TACET?
I managed to get QB without the Buddy, but did need hints for the last three words. And the last one, like you, was guessing.
Annoying to see the word DADO in the NYTimes Connection puzzle the other day when it’s still not allowed in Spelling Bee.
I’m annoyed that PIZAZZ was allowed as an alternate spelling of PIZZAZZ today. I got it by guessing, but why have two versions of what is essentially a nonsense word? Pick one.
Funny, I got your first version and didn’t get the second one until I went to the Buddy yesterday.
I knew there was an alternate spelling of that word and got it immediately after the first. I don’t always get the accepted alternates, but that one I did.
Another cool furry animal, the CARACAL, that Sam doesn’t like.
