I often get to Genius without the pangram.
Ruff is a word in and of itself - the ruff around a collar.
Sam should have waited a couple weeks and introduced the “S” on April Fool’s Day.
It’s a word in and of itself in bridge, too. What’s your point?

Is there typically fuckery on April 1st?

I think that “sluff” isn’t allowed as an alternate spelling of “slough”, whereas “ruff” is allowed because it’s not just an alternate spelling.

Not that I’m aware of.
I’m still waiting for April 1 to be BEJKOU-X.
A central Q, with no U.
Queen Bee after one word: QINDARKA.
I have been meaning to ask if there’s a possible pangram with no other words. Perfect April Fool’s prank.
Just to be clear, the seven letters I posted can also create a pangram/QB. ![]()
I suppose arguably you could get QADI out of QINDARKA.
Anyway: on today’s puzzle and several previous ones, I want PIPPING to be accepted but alas.

Okay, I’ve unscrambled that. Nice. Pretty sure that’s a one-and-done, and not even obscure.

Nah. There’d also be the singular, so at least two words.
I suppose arguably you could get QADI out of QINDARKA.
Well, maybe three.
I could have sworn that lookback was accepted a few months ago? It’s not accepted now, but surprisingly (to me), lookbook is.
That word you asked about has been eligible 10 times, but never appeared.
After being rejected 43 times, we now have to remember TORTA. And, of course, it’s food-related.
Yeah, how about that.
Some fun words today, Genius was pretty straightforward.
I don’t understand how they can accept “Ravioli” and not the singular, “Raviolo”.

What, no GOUDA?
I was wondering about the absence of that word.
