I have a hard time believing that he’d actually do this. Famed trial attorney Gerry Spence met with O. J. while O. j. was in jail, awaiting trial. I appreciate the attention grabbing headline; but maybe you should have included “according to _The National Enquirer_” in the headline. As it is, your title is very provocative and misleading.

Well, I put confesses in quotes to indicate that it wasn’t necessarily true that he was going to do that. I don’t really like doing long thread titles as they can sometimes wrap around pretty weirdly on people’s screens.

It’s bad enough that he brutally slaughtered his ex-wife and another man, but what kind of sick prick would subject his own children to a graphic description of it?
I really wish they hadn’t charged him with Ron’s murder. That way, at least double jeopardy wouldn’t be applicable if it was only Nicole’s murder he was acquitted of, and he could still be tried at any time for Ron’s.

Count me among the more than skeptical about this story, but I wonder what the Statue of Limitations for perjury is in California? Since OJ testified at the trial, it would be wonderful irony to see him hand over the proceeds of the book to the Goldman family, then have to pay for another trial defense, with, possibly, a bit of jail time at the end.

OJ didn’t testify at the trial, so he can’t be charged with perjury.

OK. I’m one of perhaps 15 people in the U.S. who did not follow the trial every day, so my memory may be faulty. I thought he had testified during the glove nonsense.
No big deal. I would still guess that he owes the Goldmans a whole lot of money.

Oh definitely. IIRC, recently the Goldmans filed suit to gain ownership of Simpson’s likeness rights, as apparently the only way he makes money is at public appearances. He’ll never be able to pay off the $33 million award against him. Additionally, [his house and NFL pension are safe from the Goldmans.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O.j._simpson#Civil_trial)

His “testimony” consisted of trying on the gloves in front of the jury and despite the fact that seemed to fit snugly but well, making a nonverbal show of how uncomfortable they were and implying they didn’t fit at all.

You might be thinking of the civil trial, where he did indeed testify. He claimed that Nicole used to beat him.

Ted Bundy did something like this in The Only Living Witness. He talked in hypotheticals and gave details of his murders, but did it in third person. Instead of “I did . . .”, it was "a serial killer would . . . "
I hope this comes back and somehow bites OJ in the ass. He’s stupid enough.

Why not? He was found not guilty. There’s no legal resaon he couldn’t proffet from his non-crime.
But if this is true (big maybe considering the source) I hope it bites him in the ass somehow. What a horrible thing to do to your children.

The Simpsons successfully sued OJ in Civil Court, which doesn’t have such a high burden of proof, and still owes them a boatload of money from that judgment. Don’t know if there’s an expiration date for them to collect their money.
I hope he writes his book and I hope not one single person buys it. He butchered two innocent people. May he rot in the hell of obscurity.
