I’ve never seen anyone act so childishly in a league discussion in my life. Well, and the funny thing is - since I can’t figure out the source of Oak’s utter hatred of me - his bitterness at that childish little discussion may actually be the reason for it. Which would mean he wasn’t just having a one day bad tantrum, but actually created a years-long hatred for me over it. The funny thing is that I’m so gentle about it too - saying that we’d love to have you, and please give this a try, and this is why we all think it would be better - and he’s flipping out saying CHANGE IS SCARY AND I HATE YOU!!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME PERSONALLY!!! Another choice quote: > [@SDMB Big League 2010](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/sdmb-big-league-2010/548632/35): > > This league started with the regular draft, as Karana intended. There is no valid reason to change it other than the whims of the group. I do not like change. The only reason you’re changing this is because everyone in the group wants to change it! THAT’S NO GOOD REASON! AND I HATE CHANGE! OH GOD CHANGE IS SCARY. --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/oakminsters-hardon-for-me/579616)._
