Now they are, otherwise they’d look so much more foolish. But in the campaign, everything Obama said was pure gold for them and for a lot of people on this board. I’m sorry, but Obama is turning out exactly as he was painted by his opponents - a naive, incompetent and a GREAT politician. He sure fooled a lot of you. :D:D
MWAHAHAHA. What a sore loser you are!
That’s so true. You’d totally have to change a lot of pronouns to make it apply to Hillary.
And thus you reveal that you didn’t actually read any of the articles published by either outlet during the campaign, quite a number of which were critical of Obama. Salon in particular was accused (via a preponderance of reader comments) of having a decided Hillary-slant.
Not of great consequence to your facile mugging, but in the interest of dispelling ignorance…
Well, it might help us, Adruil, if you were a bit more explicit about your sources of information, which are excellent. You know more about what was in those secret files than, well, anyone else seems to! All the newspapers, the other outlets, none of them have got the real skinny like you do.
Might be a good idea to share those sources. You know, so it doesn’t look like you’re just blowing smoke out yer ass.
I didn’t catch that, my bad, To respond: no one is saying that politicians will NEVER lie. It’s just that it was so obvious that a lot of what Obama said in the campaign was not achievable and when anyone pointed that out, the kool-aid drinking portion of the populace just wouldn’t have any of it. And now that they are proven wrong … just drink on!
A preponderance of reader comments? Well, now I’m convinced! I can’t say that I read all of the articles they posted but I have a different impression.
That’ll happen when you only read the headlines and glance over words that aren’t “Obama.”
Still waiting on your solid sources of information, Anduril. Whenever you get around to it.
Oh, look- it’s the “AHA! But I am NOT a McCain supporter!” tactic, as if that somehow completely invalidates my point. We see this a lot on other sites- Digg, for example- usually from those who think that Ron Paul can cure all ills. The irony of a Ron Paul supporter (you know, assuming that’s what you are) accusing an Obama supporter of blind worship is simply galling.
And you know, your reply would’ve been apt if I had implied that you’re a McCain supporter. I didn’t, actually- you played your hand too early. Of course, you might just be one of those who thinks that you win by not voting, so you can Nelson Muntz* your way out of any argument. That shit don’t fly 'round these parts.
*[SUB]“Ha-ha!”[/SUB]
Er, what?
If you get your news from HillaryIs44.com, maybe you still think she won?
Haha. No. Anduril is Hillaryis44. Or is at least indistinguishable from him.
Well, I’d be surprised of that, too, considering that the warrentless wiretapping program was canceled in 2007. What I’m not surprised by, though, is that the administration is supporting the stay in Al-Haramain. The administration, any administration, is going to justify a previous administration’s exercise of executive power, because if the decision stands, that’ll weaken this administration’s attempts to exercise executive power in the future.
Then why did you write this?
Perhaps that was a typo. But coming on the heels of Anduril and Bricker declaring that the program is continuing, it didn’t seem like it.
Because I goofed up, and didn’t read carefully enough. I was meaning to say that the Obama administration would naturally defend the President’s right to warrantless wiretap, rather than that the Obama administration was currently warrantless wiretapping.
I already replied to this. Drink on.
Is this all you can muster? My God, everyone was so cocksure in the campaign that Obama will be the Messiah, including you. Now that the criticisms are proven right, that’s all you can say? In the first place, I rarely post there, but even if I do, so what? It doesn’t make any of you less laughable now, doesn’t it? Drink on!
I just had to jump headfirst into the fray to say that I think this is BRILLIANT! Nelson Muntz as a verb! I hate emoticons, but- !!!
Oh, look, it’s the “kool-aid” gambit. Why, it’s been *minutes *since we’ve seen that used.
I dare you to find one Obama voter on this website who claimed he was the Messiah. ONE. 'Cause, you see, that’s what we 'round these parts call a “strawman”.
And for the record, we never said he was perfect. We just said he was better than *your *guy. So far, we haven’t been proven wrong.
Oh, look, there’s the Kool-aid gambit again. Do you actually have anything of substance to add to this thread, or are you just going to copy-'n-paste from the the various anti-Obama websites?
