According to one news source, the reason that it took so long to do the DNA tests was that it was necessary to find some DNA to compare with that of the dead body. The news source claims that they got some from Bin Laden’s sister. ---

The NYT says that Obama said he ordered it Sunday so it looks like the rumors were off or Obama’s lying. But the latter seems unlikely. ---

MSNBC just replayed that part of the speech. Obama says that he authorized the mission last week, but he gave the order to attack today. Easy to confuse, as I did. ---
