Obama Doesn't Remember How Big the Debt Is

How horrible! That makes him the worst president ever. Pkbites is so much smarter.

Prove it.

It’s so weird. Is this how it works:

A hypothetical conservative can tell that Romney is fucking it all up. And that conservative feels powerless and angry. So he goes to RW media to get a fresh slice of nonsense to get pissed about.

This thing! This thing I just heard of! It’s outrageous! All that stupid shit Romney is doing, none of it matters because of this thing!

Every day, it starts all over again.

Is that the deal? Just nonsense issue after nonsense issue to take the pain away?

They are trying to find something, anything that will stick. It reeks of desperation which is sad.

But the 47% Romney gave a gift that keeps on giving. It’s day two of the Romney Tapes in news cycles if it sticks for 3 days then it has legs.

I have never heard of that website, damn, FOX News is tame compared to that.

I would hope that no one here is under the delusion that anything discussed on this board has the slightest influence on a national election. This is just opposition for form’s sake, evidently with little in the way of imagination or thought. It reminds me of nothing so much as a right-wing version of the increasingly silly and pointless screeds put up by the banned poster Reeder last cycle.

What strikes me is the almost complete inability of the noisier conservatives around here to express why we should not vote against Obama, but vote for Romney. Sell your product, people, fer cryin’ out loud.

Is the OP seriously arguing that one should bases one’s vote on whether or not Obama accurately expressed a figure for the national debt in a single appearance on a TV variety show? I can’t imagine that’s sincerely the case. It’s negative noise, for form’s sake; that’s all.

You know, once Obamacare is fully rolled out you’ll be able to afford some salve for your bruised vagina.

I feel like the GOP used to be a lot better at this manufactured outrage stuff. What happened?

It’s worse that he said it wasn’t a problem in the short run.

Thanks for the link. I had missed Obama on Letterman and seeing what a great job he did is making me find the whole interview on the CBS site.

It isn’t a problem in the short run.

This is because he largely doesn’t care. To him it’s a tax problem, not a spending problem.

If he had casually tossed out a correct ballpark figure he’d have been dragged over the coals for it. “He just throws that number out there like it’s nothing! He has sold the country out and he doesn’t even care!”

He’s smart not to say the number. No reason to give the GOP fodder for their ads if they don’t have to.

It’s definitely both. Except for the spending part.

It’s a spending problem.

I wonder why that is? Maybe this graphfrom a conservative site can explain it. Oh, look, spending has leveled off after a sharp rise from two wars and revenue has dropped following a tax cut to the rich. That dumb Obama

Nope.

Don’t you think you can cut 50% out of several government agencies with no effect to the economy?

That doesn’t suggest you know what you’re talking about.

Economic growth is infinite. Thus revenues are infinite. Haven’t you heard? My liberal economics professor told me so!
