Georgia’s flag was all [confederatey](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_the_State_of_Georgia_(1956-2001).svg). Then it got turned into, and I quote\*, [“a Denny’s placemat”](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_the_State_of_Georgia_(2001-2003).svg). Now it’s [pretty generic](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_Georgia_(U.S._state).svg), but that is still better. \*I don’t remember which politician said it though. ---
