# Obama Nobel Prize, regret in awarding it?

I was trying to present my interpretation of the opinion underlying the public statements from the head of the Nobel Peace Prize committee. How many levels down the rabbit hole is _that_? No wonder it’s weird.

I’ll say again - even if Obama was terminally ill, there was in 2009 no reason to give him the Nobel Peace Prize. I don’t think there’s a good enough reason in 2011, although I find **Qin** ’s argument interesting.
