[OBAMA PULLING FOR PITTSBURGH](http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/01/27/obama-pulling-for-pittsburgh/) IIRC, Obama has admitted in the past to being a Steelers fan as a kid, Hawaii not having had a football team. (Sorry, no cite at the moment. :() Though I do believe he is a Bears fan, he still roots for the Steelers as well. Isn’t pitting stupids comments on a sports page kind of like shooting ducks with a machine-gun when the ducks are glued to the floor? What’s next, pitting the posts on the IMDB message board? 😃 **NurseCarmen** , you never heard of the Hamas Hammers? They good on offense but are reckless of player safety and just suck as defense. Their fans tend to be complete idiots too. ---

People FROM Arizona barely support the Cardinals, so we can hardly fault someone from half way across the country for not rooting for us. That said, I’ll be there to comfort President Obama when Big Red wipes its butt with the Terrible Towel. Just sayin’. 🙂 ---

I guess this means that he is also a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns (right up until Crennel got fired), Kansas City Chiefs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in addition to the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. Or maybe he’s just a member of Steeler Nation. Maybe he really has liked them since the '70s when they won three of their five Super Bowl rings. No, it couldn’t be that he just likes the Steelers. And there is nothing wrong with a 67 year-old woman waving a Terrible Towel. My 82 year-old uncle will be waving one this Sunday night. ---

BTW–Mike Tomlin, the Steelers’ head coach, had a great line IMHO about Obama. “Obama is selling hope. And I’m buying.” ---
