My 10 year old son loves the Pittsburgh Steelers. Does this mean he is secretly black or quietly racist? I’m so confused. Who knew that Arizona actually had a football team? WTH is wrong with that scenario. I picture any sport in AZ to be lawn bowling, golf cart races and geritol chugging. ( I keed. I keed.) I’m picking the Steelers because they drafted midseason a guy from the Lions who went from the crummiest team EVAR (0-16, baby) to being the THUPERBOWL. I cannot remember his name, but there is either an O’ or a Mc involved with his name. ---

There’s already asshats on the Freepers who CLAIM to be die-hard Stiller fans who are now rooting for the Cardinals, since Obama is rooting for the black and gold. Traitors! Art and Myron are spinning in their graves!!! When Dan was supporting Obama, they had fans throwing away their Steelers swag here, and making a big production of it-fuckers. Fuck every last one of them-send 'em all to Cleveland. If Bush had rooted for the Steelers, would I have given two shits? Fuck NO!!! In fact, it would at least have given him SOME brownie points. ---

Of course Obama roots for the Steelers! As we all surely recall, Pittsburgh loves him so much that they carve his initials on the faces of out-of-towners. Hell, if I were president and had a choice between rooting for Pittsburgh or Arizona, I wouldn’t think twice about it. “Hmmm… Pittsburgh is only a short hop from D.C., and it would curry favor in a large swing state… On the other hand, if I make a big deal out of rooting for the Cardinals, I might be expected to go to Arizona. Don’t they have a lot of scorpions out there?” ---

So, Guin, are we supposed to believe that you were just reading through the comment section of [ProFootballtalk.com](http://ProFootballtalk.com), were shocked and appalled that people were saying stupid things (on the internet, of all places!) and came here in stunned outrage? Or is it more accurate to say that this is second- or third-hand outrage – that someone else found this and passed it on and they passed it on and finally you got it and posted it here? I’m fairly sure it’s the latter, so I have a completely serious question: Why? What exactly is the point you’re trying to make here? You obviously already know that there are political extremist idiots on all sides. You obviously already know that everyone here already knows that, too. So what exactly is to be gained here? Is it just some sort of political team-affiliation thing: some conservative somewhere says something stupid, and you take this as a validation of your own politics? Were you hoping to get plaudits for being the first person here with a new meme? ---
