I’ve never found them especially terrifying. What, do you think Mexicans eat people? ---

Drivers, for example, should need to log their speed in order to demonstrate to officers who stop them on a whim that they haven’t _been_ speeding in the past week. Wearing running shoes merits an investigatory stop to ascertain whether or not one is a jaywalker. And so on. ---
