So, General Electric is a brand that used to hold a lot of value, but that value is slipping away as the company is going in the crapper. What the fuck does it matter if there’s a Mrs. General Electric or not? ETA: I must also add that if Trump had simply invested in the stock market instead of his own lousy company, he’d probably be a real billionaire. Thanks to Mr. Dow Jones and Mr. S&P, of course. ---

He might be a terrible father and a terrible person in general. But he must have some business smarts. My girlfriend has a Trump brand bed. Enough said. Very few people have their own personal brand. I can’t think of one other. Can you? He started in his early 20’s and is now in his 70’s. He went bankrupt once. He’s worth billions. He built an empire based on his name. That guy may have lost of crap load of money lately but he is still filthy rich. When people take pictures of him shopping at Walmart, I’'ll concede that you are right. ---

[/QUOTE] I really do hope his assets tank and he ends up poor but I doubt it. He will stay rich and his sons will be rich and so on. Property has value and he seem to own a lot of it. I know nothing about valuations of assets. Perhaps they go up and down so much that it is impossible to pinpoint a value. A link in a previous post lists his net worth at close to 3 billion dollars. Apparently that is down 600 million dollars. That’s like me have a real bad weekend in Vegas. Are you suggesting that he is worthless? ---
