(That being said, I didn’t know about this or I forgot about it.) A story like this would be covered differently today than it was 20 years ago. ---

The thing is, the serious newspapers back then ignored the New York Post. I didn’t hear of it until [Spy magazine made it a cover story](http://books.google.com/books?id=goAxRblMWT4C&lpg=PA34&dq=spy%20magazine%20george%20bush&pg=PA29#v=onepage&q=spy%20magazine%20george%20bush&f=false), and they only did it in a fit of pique after the press started digging into Bill Clinton’s affairs. It was the hypocrisy that brought it up. ---

The biggest scandal of the administration to this point is Fast and Furious, but that’s not the personal type of scandal we’re talking about in this thread. ---
