That’s one of the justifications for why its so fucking hard to fire people in the civil service. based on all the facts we know today, the white house had nothing to do with what Lois Lerner did. Based on what we know today, Lois Lerner’s actions were not politically driven. I have been practicing tax law for decades and I can’t think of a single time when a president told the IRS to change how it interprets a law. The way you override the bureaucracy is to pass laws that clearly overturn the bureaucratic interpretation of the law. ---

As **Really Not All That Bright** showed there was a lot of context missing here, and yes, you did promised in that thread that it was going to be bumped, of course there were other outrageous items you claimed to be sure about, so it is clear why it was not bumped as promised. You are missing that I was satisfied already by having that thread linked now and the best thing is that I did not need to do so. ---
