The point of this thread has nothing to do with whether any given poster said or failed to say the right thing, either earlier or now.

Title notwithstanding, the whole point of this thread was for Bricker to admit his error, and presumably for people to mock him or graciously accept. I happen to think the argument about whether he did so appropriately is silly, but it’s hardly outside the bounds of the thread.
Precisely. It’s all about whether a poster did “the right thing”. And he did. Too bad his direct and graceful admission of being wrong, and the way he paid his debt, is not enough for some.
