I haven’t posted in this thread recently because I haven’t been sure if stuff that interests me would interest others and thought maybe I was getting annoying, but I had to post about this. Obama made a [surprise appearance](http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x7930181) at a food drive and school, almost certainly totally freaking out everybody there. (ETA: that link has pictures too). I worry about his safety, but I love that he does want to stay in touch with regular people. “You can call me Barack” 😃 ---

oh, poor kids, mum’s a talker as well. oy! “talks” from both parents. those poor, earsore children! too funny. i’m betting it is still a longer talk from dad. chez! malia looks so much like her mum. she is gonna be quite something in her mid twenties. obama looks very much like his mum. there was a picture flashed when he and ms walters were talking about his mum and grandparents. put a wig on him and you’ve got mum. ---
