Wow, those similarities sure stack up in a hurry when you think about them, huh? I mean, you’ve got two of them right there! Two! Of course, thats the same number of similarities between me and George Clooney. We’re both devilishly handsome, and we both put our pants on one leg at a time. Wait, I’m just getting some news here…correction! George Clooney grabs his pants, leaps into the air and performs a double somersault, and puts his pants on in mid air! So only one. One similarity between me and George Clooney.
But you got two! And that’s almost twice as many! Pretty much identical, at that point, huh? Huh?
Well, if you want to beat that analogy to death, it would be something like Obama just puts his pants on but Bush wipes his ass with them first, and then sets them on fire. Then he goes on national TV and swears the dog did it.
You’re the one that thought of the analogy. As far as your response to my response to your analogy, it really is a shame that I currently have a job that offers random drug testing.
it will end tragically, Ossama bin Laudeb’s plan is to suck us into a series if wars in the middle east and bankrupt us.
Islam is a dysfunctional political an legal system, not really a religion, it was Paranoid Schizophrenic from it’s inception.
over 10 Muslims since 1949 have been murdered by other Muslims, so this isn’t an isolated situation, it is normal, prophesied by Muhammad.
IT CAN NOT BE FIXED
our government is deluded into thinking they can create a neutered lapdog version of Islam the Muslim world will flock to. the power structure of the Imam system WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN.
LEAVE THEM ALONE , GO TO SOLAR AND WIND POWER, CONSERVE,
Perhaps you might try reading the posts you’re replying to first. The answers you claim to be missing were provided even before you asked the questions.
Here’s a hint in case you’re still having trouble:
The Libyan revolt is indigenous, by its people. Iraq didn’t have one (well, it did once, but Poppy Warsawed it). Bush went to war against the Iraqi people. Obama’s efforts are in support of them.
Bush wanted to take over in Iraq. Obama, no such evidence, hmm?
Now, how about explaining why you peremptorily dismiss the idea that this effort is humanitarian, facts on the ground as well as statements notwithstanding? Sheesh. :dubious:
Gosh, maybe it is all those drugs, hampering my memory. I’ll rely on yours, since you have no such issues. GeeDubya went to Iraq with the goal of disarming Saddam of all those terrible WMDs. according to my enfeebled memory.
Well, last time I checked Iraq still doesn’t have any WMD, so it must have worked out perfectly! They don’t have any tigers either, so those anti-tiger devices must be doing the trick as well…
Like getting involved or getting out. Clearly he did not want to be bothered with it and followed NATO into it. There is no leadership in Obama but then there never was. He’s never held a job with any responsibility and it shows.
Obama wasn’t part of the leadership that got this little adventure going, and that’s fine with me. This was a European lead effort, and they talked us into joining them. Not everything in the world is run by Americans. Although I’m not fully on board with the policy, I give Obama credit for keeping it as much of a non-American effort as possible.
As for the Libyan rebels being pissed at us (and here, us = NATO, not America), that’s tough shit for them. I wish them luck, but we (NATO) didn’t sign up to give them air cover for their civil war. We signed up to protect civilians, and when they started driving around in trucks with rocket launchers on them, they stopped being civilians. And we signed up to do only what we could do from the air.
NATO=America when it comes to the coordination of the group. Gaddafi’s army is an easy target for NATO forces. It’s fucked up because that leadership is missing.
The reports coming out are puzzling-the US forces are not conducting any more airstrikes…this leaves the UK and France, pls a few smaller NATO forces. Why is this?
Then, Drudge reports that US generals are considering sending in ground forces.
Is Kaddafi winning now?
Looks like a bad outcome for something poorly thought out.
