Update: The father of one of the girls has[gotten a restraining order](http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~53~2696774,00.html) to keep the Cookie Monster’s husband from calling him. Boy, these folks are just winners, eh? ---

So. It’s very bad to give someone cookies and you will get sued because it causes horrific stress and fear and the end of life as we know it and the gates of hell to open. But, it’s OK for the “victims” to start making harrassing phone calls? Good thing I’m not the neighbor or you’d be seeing my face on Cops or Most Wanted. What a bunch of scumbags. I hope Mr and Mrs Cookiehater get tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail. ---

Sometimes you argue the point to make it clearer in the mind of others you are conversing with. If you say to them, “I’m only doing this to help you understand”, you’ll end up stopping the conversation right there. I think if the points being raised are valid\* it is irrelevant as to what the motives of the poster are. \*What is valid? There are lot of conversations about religion on this board. As I am an athiest, I know that any argument based upon what a god thinks, acts, or wants, is flawed from the get go. Does that mean everyone who posts about god is a troll even though I know there is no basis for their belief? I don’t think so. So why should it matter the motives of the poster as long as others are interested in arguing the point? ---
