He seemed impressed that I recognized his surname and asked if he was related to “Dave Seville.” This topic has had me thinking for a while. I once spoke to “Mrs. Monte Markham” in the same context, only to learn that I was making a reservation for another childhood crush. Monte Markham. Mmmm. …and Michael York. And Keir Dullea. Where are these coming from?!? ---

Not all that obscure, but Kristy McNichol in “Family” - my first TV-star crush. Later, she went on to bat for the other team, if I remember rightly. Ah well… ---
