Yes, this is about Lekatt. You try to get him to [post a rebuttal](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=186723) in GD. When a mod closes your thread, you [repost it](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=186755) in more general terms. You also head over to the Pit and attempt to [define “lekatt”](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=169316) (older thread, recently revived). Back in GD, you visited Leroy’s personal page to get his name and birthdate. Then you took the time to write the NARA to determine the validity of Leroy’s claims of Navy service. And you [pit Milum](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=186912) for defending - who else? - Lekatt. Asking for a rebuttal, I can understand that. Maybe a pitting. But when you actually wrote the NARA about his military service… wow. I think you’re getting a bit too excited over this guy. ---

**lekatt** is someone we could probably do without. If **SimonX** ’s exposes chase him out of here, I’m all for it. Besides, what difference does it make to you? I’m sorta confused about that. You can always skip over those threads, you know. Nobody here is making you read them. I’m finding them marvelously entertaining. There’s nothing quie like exposing people for the phonys they are. ---

My point is obvious. You’re whining about someone who is somehow inconveniencing you by creating threads that you open up and read even as you already know what they’re about. Then you start up a thread complaining that he is inflicting upon you something that you voluntarily opened, knowing full well what the topic was. **Jimmy Chitwood** , I pitted SimonX not because he pitted Lekatt, and not because he is wasting my time, but because he also started a GD thread demanding a rebuttal from Lekatt, _and_ put in the time to check with a government agency to confirm Lekatt’s claims of Navy service. I don’t see the reason for SimonX putting that much effort into investigating some loser’s claim on a fucking message board. And I don’t think I am guilty of what I accuse SimonX of. I don’t recall ever contacting a government agency and spending actual money to verify any of his claims. ---

What is your point? He’s a stalker? :rolleyes: As far as I’m concerned he’s taken some initiative to expose a phony. Money well spent, if in fact he spent any more than the cost of a stamp.
