I was yesterday years old when I realized that Sabrina the Teenage Witch is not an original character for the Melissa Joan Hart sitcom but was actually created as an Archie Comics character. She debuted in 1962. I didn’t know that until I saw an issue of _Betty and Veronica_ on the supermarket newsstand plugging a special appearance by Sabrina. ---

I’ve said this before, but Betty doesn’t strike me as the tambourine type. That seems more of a Veronica thing. Ronnie also makes sense on keyboards; her rich parents paying for their little girl’s piano lessons. ---

Jughead strikes me as the low-ego, fade-into-the-background type that makes a classic bass player. ---
