I love how just about everyone who’s ever had contact with this guy is all “yeah, he’s a douche.”

His clear lack of customer service skills is mindboggling. Has this guy never worked in retail, or any other lower-level service job? I’m pretty sure any 16-year-old kid who’s worked two shifts at Target would know better than to treat customers like this. How hard would it have been to simply apologize to Dave for the delay and maybe offer him a refund?

What’s even more mindboggling is that even after all of this, he still doesn’t get it. Nothing is ever his fault, and his “apology” is very clearly a half-assed “sorry I got caught.” He keeps mentioning that he didn’t realize how influential and powerful PA is, and what he doesn’t seem to realize is that that doesn’t matter. You should be treating the customer who emailed you in the first place as though he were as important as PA, even if they aren’t.

That guy is totally douching all over the internet, painting himself as a victim. He contends this situation is akin to getting KO’d by a professional fighter in a bar fight. Right, if you picked the fight in the first place and wouldn’t let up until he had to hand you your own ass. Zero sympathy for this guy. Don’t start bar fights, douche.
