I plan on going to this airshow for the first time this year. Any particular hints or tips? Are the various seats you have the option of paying for worth it? ---

Nothing specific to NAS Oceana; but generally speaking, stay hydrated. I don’t know what the weather is there, but it can get hot on the ramp. Sun + warm or hot weather + reflective concrete can cause people to pass out if they don’t drink enough water. ---

I don’t know that specific airshow, but we have a big one in Cleveland. Airshows can be seen from an extremely large area, like, a fair fraction of a city. The very best seats might be the ones you pay for, but there will be places where you can see 95% as well for free, and other places where you can pay but also get other amenities with it.
