Where I went to High School, when the two rival teams in the county played each other we thought it was funny that it was the Jaguars vs. the Mustangs. \ Okay, so mine’s not as cool as Cocks and Trojans… 😛 Speaking of which, I’d like to see how CBS Sports would handle USC vs. USC. ---

I heard a (probably false) story a few years ago that Notre Dame was once scheduled to play South Carolina, Southern Cal, and Navy in consecutive weeks. Some ND students hung a banner from their dorm windows that read, “Beat Cocks, Burst Trojans, and Spill Seamen!” ---

A few years back, City University of Newcastle on Tyne were going to design some t-shirts with the college initials on them. They didn’t get very far with that idea. OK its a fake, still kind of amusing. ---

If any two Canadian Football League Teams played, it would be the Roughriders vs. the Roughriders. OK, I’m dating myself. There haven’t been more that 3 or 4 teams called the Roughriders since the mid-90’s.
