We took the kids downtown Seattle to watch fireworks – stood on a hill overlooking Elliott Bay. A guy and a girl on a rooftop across and down from us were getting it on. People started shooting bottle rockets at them but they didn’t stop. When they were finished, the guy stood up and took a bow. The kids were too interested in the fireworks to notice. Other public nudity in Seattle – a guy whacking off in the lobby of the Smith Tower, and a gorgeous totally naked woman standing in a pawn shop entryway in December. It was some kind of art project. I used to have a doggy daycare and one day I had about half a dozen, large (Rottweiler, Rhodesian, labs and goldens) dogs, off-leash in a huge field of tall grass. At the train station. Got off the train and was walking to the bus stop when I glanced over and spotted a couple getting very close in the ‘tunnel’ area of the station (which goes over the tracks to come back down to the platform) near the tracks. Also the couple of teenagers who were doing _something_ (though I don’t recall seeing much) on the opposite side of the hill from my elementary school. I caught them as I was walking back to class after lunch. ---

As far as I can recall, the only time I’ve caught people having sex\* was after a college party. The party had wound down a few hours back. There where a few people passed out on the floor of the living room and a friend and I where sitting in the kitchen playing cards. After a while we noticed they had started moving and a few minutes after that it was pretty obvious they where having sex under a blanket. The guy made eye contact with me, so I know at least he knew we where there, and my friend and I were talking so it’s not that they didn’t know we were there when they started. I feel bad for the girl, she lost her virginity\*\* in someone’s dorm apartment with two other people in the room and me flinging cards across the room at them. \*Not counting times I’ve heard people having sex in places where you’d expect to hear it (like dorm rooms) \*\*I assume she lost her virginity that time, the blanket had quite a bit of blood on that blanket in the morning. ---

Once my wife and I were staying in a house that backed onto a strip of undergrowth and trees on high dunes overlooking a beach. The house had a path that lead up to the top of the dunes, where there was a little space with a couple of chairs overlooking lower dunes and the beach, and then a path down to the beach. The view out onto the dunes and beach was only partial because there were trees blocking the view in some parts. I was sitting on one of the chairs waiting for my wife and then we planned to go down onto the beach. This guy came along the beach from my right, then sloped up into the dunes till he was just below me. He clearly had no idea I was only maybe 10 yards above and behind him. He proceeded to kneel down, look intently to his left, and jack off furiously. I didn’t really want to watch, or to suffer mutual embarrassment if he turned and realised I was there. So I coughed loudly (and theatrically) and he spun around like a top, saw me, stuffed his junk back in his trousers and ran off, keeping low, to my right again.
