Well I’m 20, just enrolled in college though. I just needed a couple years off to decide what direction I wanted my life to go in. I will admit I’ve said a couple things that even I disagree with, I was just kinda in the mood to argue(drunken posts), and I do apoligize. And coming from a young person, I’d like to thank eveyone on this board, young and old alike. I’ve found that I can ask anything here, things that a younger person can’t talk to with family or friends. Your able to receive a wide variety of opinions from people of all different walks of life. ---

**Dan** , I’m glad you posted this. I was getting real downhearted after a little altercation in a Pit thread ( **ladyfoxfyre** , I think I flew off the handle a little). I count as young. I’m turning 19 soon! Then again, lots of my friends are in their 20s (22, 23… 29!) so I always feel young. I’ve never been made to feel that because I was younger I had less credibility. Not until today, anyway. But I’m not bitter, really. ---

I always forget I’m just a young’un. Seriously. I’m 18 going on 36. Then somebody says something about teenagers and I’m all, "Oh yeah, those damn teenagers, messing everything up and wearing those gigantic pants - " Then it’s pointed out to me that I _am_ one of those damn teenagers, and I _am_ wearing those gigantic pants… ---

First, thanks all for your thoughts! I just thought it would be a good idea to let you know this place really is for everyone, not just the so-called “mature” ones. **Kricket** : Pffffffffffffffffffft. 🙂 Heh. Typical youngsters. I start a thread praising them, and the next thing you know they’re planning a kegger. Incidentally, some of the young’uns who are posting in this thread have rather large post counts. This tells me that they might actually have attention spans (the stereotypical teenager doesn’t! :)) and that it’s likely their fellow posters respect them. Anyway, I just think that it’s incumbant upon the older posters to make sure that the younger set is comfortable here, that we should encourage intelligence and creativity in those whom in real life are typically shunned and misunderstood by their elders. To that end, I think we’ve succeeded a little, but you kids would be a better judge than I. ---
