# Of Clark and Dr. Seuss

While reciting some of your typical “Green Eggs and Ham” dialog, I had a very strange flashback. Suddenly I remembered reading something about a character named “Clark” in a Seuss book. IIRC, it was from “One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish,” and went something like -

Look at what we found  
In the park, in the dark  
We will take him home  
We will call him Clark  
(Something something something)  
He will grow and grow  
Will our mother like this?  
We don’t know

I can’t remember the exact wording, and it’s driving me insane. So, does anyone remember, or have the book on hand? Please put me out of my misery.
