Okay, **Scylla**. I’m sorry I called you a moron in that other thread. You would have to go a long, long way to negate all your contributions to the board, and you didn’t do it there. Here’s a tip, though - I don’t think some people will be happy with your symbolism, however lovely, in the place of a more straightforward response. Good luck anyway. ---

That poor dead horse- will you people stop flogging it? Yeesh. [Maude Flanders] Won’t _somebody_ think of the children? [/Maude Flanders]. on-topic: Oh, and I agree- organized hunts like that are pathetic. Responsible husbandry of the land is one thing- “fish in a barrel” hunting is another. What’s the point? That’s only a small step above those despicable “petting zoo” type game preserves where the game is taught through feeding not to fear humans right until the slaughter begins. Oy. That’s not hunting-- that’s slaughter. Plus the amount of drunk hunters now make the public land woods unsafe during the season now, even in orange. Sad. :mad: ---

I went dove hunting before with friends. In addition to a few dove, I also had to shoot a viper in it’s pit because the fool thing kept coming at me. Surprised me so I blew it’s head off. The shocker was that the next day when I skinned it, it’s cold heart was still beating. Never did forget that and I avoid them now. They’re evil. The dove? A jalapeno wedge in a slit next to the sternum before you wrap with bacon is nice. Use mild, warm or hot depending on your personal taste. Nice story, Scylla. ---

They’re also wary, dig almost invulnerable bunker/burrows, and are _very_ hard to get rid of. They’re big, agressive, and will severly damage most dogs.
