Still, I would kinda like my CM title back. As meaningless as it is, I kinda liked having it under my username. Please read aforementioned quote. I’ve been reading the Straight Dope since the first print book came out in the late 80s (in my recollection - right after the Gutenberg “B42” Bible was published). Message board or not, helping Uncle Cecil’s mission to eradicate ignorance seems worth a sawbuck or three. I don’t post on the board very often (if at all, in recent history), but after reading a bit of this thread…weighing the arguments one way or another…my decision to re-up my subsription to regain “Charter” status was one of the easier ones I made today.
