I thought this was a fantastic episode. Every bit of it worked. I particularly loved poor Toby trying to buy a doll, and ending up with black unicorn princess. ---

The Toby/Daryll thing was the only good part. I thought the rest of the episode sucked donkey dong. Hmmm… a Christmas episode revolving around an intervention for an alcoholic who doesn’t believe she’s an alcoholic, so they drag her kicking and screaming- quite literally- to a recovery and treatment center. Way to suck the funny out of the room. Worst episode evar. ---

I think that’s the mark of an extremely well-written television program - when they can make the viewer feel squirmy and awkward from the top of their head to the tips of their toes. This was a great episode. Only thing I didn’t like was Michael literally dragging Phyllis in the building. I love when he threw the pen at Toby though. Poor-poor Toby. The desk prank… wow. How long DID that take!? ---

Phyllis calling Angela’s bluff was awesome. I was almost fooled into thinking Angela got her way after that evil smile. Now everybody in the office knows how evil she is (except of course Andy, Michael, and Meridith). I doubt though than any of them will tell Andy which is even better since it will be a daily guilt trip for her. ---

Of course we know Dwight’s a dick, but he was a REAL dick at the end of this episode when Phyllis revealed her secret. The show got a little too real last night. ---
