The “dueling banjos” bit was the funniest part of tonight’s episode. Some of the other stuff was funny… the bathroom noises from next door to the new office, Ryan constantly texting, everyone overhearing each other’s phone calls, Michael’s “corner.” ---

I didn’t know there were two tonight, so I missed the first 20 minutes of the first episode and I can’t really comment on it. I really, really liked the second one, and I’m also someone who has hardly even _liked_ the show after the third season. I like the new receptionist – she’s a cutie. Ryan needs an ass-whooping worse than ever. My favorite part was Toby’s talking about Damages: I give people the **exact same speech.** ---

Wow! These were two of the best episodes I have ever seen of The Office. They NAILED almost everything that was set-up in both of them, (as far as I’m concerned), with the possible exception of the “rundown” thing; I was distracted when Jim handed it to Charles, what happened? ---

I think he’s officially being a huge dick to Jim. What’s his deal? It seemslike he’s constantly singling out Jim to screw with\*. Is this Karma for the way Jim’s treated Dwight? \*assuming he IS infact screwing with him. Charles seemed to call him out on the soccor thing, (when they all were sucking up) and rundown thing seemed fake ---

I think Jim knew what Charles wanted but was afraid to give it to him. Wouldn’t a “rundown” be a list of your customers, what/how much they buy? Jim knows he’s in Charles’s sights. Why does he keep shooting himself in the foot? Does he want to be fired? ---

I totally missed the first episode because we were out at an appointment. Will have to catch it online. But did anybody \*ever \*make that copy for Michael? And I’m remembering something where pancakes were used as head gaskets for a car . . . ---
