Over the years, my brother has worked with a lot of guys from India, and they’re always surprised that this doesn’t really happen; according to what they’ve seen in American movies and TV, it does. :o ---

Oh, answering the question: No, I wouldn’t attend the party. I don’t think many others where I work would either. I can think of one person who might under the right circumstances, but the right circumstances for him are difficult to fulfill. ---

I’ve heard of men in the Middle East and South Asia blatantly asking Western men to lend them their wives/girlfriends for the night. They weren’t virgins when you met them, so surely you don’t care if they sleep with me. ---

I’m self-employed, so not much going on. But from the last normal full-time job I had about 20 years ago (shit has it been that long?) yeah, sure, I’m in. But it was a situation where pretty much everyone hooked up with a co-worker, anyway. Oh, to be in my 20s living in a foreign country again! ---
